Privacy Policy

• Account data: your name, email address, optional phone number and location, and a six-digit Studio PIN you choose.
• Song data: the details you provide to create songs (recipient name, occasion, language, style choices, generated lyrics, and the audio files we render for you).
• Payment metadata: the reference, amount, currency and status of each Paystack transaction. We do not see, store or process your card number, CVV, PIN or bank credentials — those are handled entirely by Paystack.
• Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used to keep the service running and prevent abuse.

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To generate lyrics and audio for the songs you request.
• To track and grant the credits you purchase.
• To keep your song library available to you.
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with our legal and tax obligations in Nigeria.

We share the minimum data needed with trusted service providers so that SingNaija can function:

• Supabase (authentication and database hosting).
• Vercel (web hosting).
• Paystack (payment processing in Nigerian Naira).
• Anthropic (the AI model used to draft lyrics from the details you provide).
• Replicate (the AI infrastructure used to render audio from your approved lyrics).

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not share your data for third-party advertising.

Our service providers operate data centres outside Nigeria. When we transfer your personal data internationally, we rely on the safeguards permitted under the NDPA and on the security commitments published by each provider.

We keep your account data and song library for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will permanently delete your profile and your songs within 30 days, except for records we are required by law to keep (for example, payment records for tax purposes).

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct any data that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your account and the data linked to it.
• Export your songs and account information.
• Withdraw consent at any time (by deleting your account).
• Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you believe your rights have been breached.

We protect your account with industry-standard authentication and encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your Studio PIN is never stored in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to keep your PIN private and to email us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised activity on your account.

SingNaija is intended for users aged 13 and above. If you are under 13, please do not use SingNaija. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be notified to you through the service.
